Successful health and safety management is imperative on all construction projects; whether big or small. 

At CG  Carpentry & Building Ltd, we pride ourselves on our excellent H&S record and are continuously striving to improve this area of our business. 

We have worked with a dedicated H&S Advisor for many years, who helps us to ensure we go above and beyond in ensuring our operatives and those impacted by our work are safe. 

We are pleased to have gained a CHAS accreditation for the past several years.  

Our operatives 
All our operatives hold valid CSCS Cards, which are regularly checked. To ensure our works are carried out safely, all our site managers and supervisors have SMSTS and SSSTS qualifications, respectively. We also ensure that at least one First Aider is allocated to each site. 

Environmental Policy 
The importance of environmental protection is ever-increasing, as the awareness of our impact on the planet grows. 

At CG Carpentry & Building Limited, we ensure that all our staff and carpenters work in an environmentally and socially responsible way. We organise and carry out works in a manner which will reduce, as far as reasonably possible, noise and dust. 

When supplying materials, we ensure that all timber and sheet materials come from PEFC and/or FSC certified suppliers. We also seek to use local suppliers, as well local labour, to support communities and reduce our carbon footprint.
